Description de posteSupport managers in implementing performance management and review processes. Provide coaching to managers and employees to improve performance and productivity. Assist in developing training and professional development initiatives. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist with the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing and selection. Oversee onboarding to ensure new hires are integrated successfully, contributing to a seamless transition. Develop and enforce company policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Stay updated on labor law changes and ensure the organization’s practices are in line with current regulations. Lead or participate in HR audits, identifying any compliance gaps and recommending corrective actions. Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and team-building events. Assist in analyzing feedback and implementing programs to improve workplace morale and engagement. Support compensation and benefits processes, including annual reviews and open enrollment. Work with HR leadership to maintain competitive and equitable compensation structures. Track and report key HR metrics to provide insights on turnover, engagement, diversity, and compliance. Analyze data to identify trends and propose solutions to enhance HR programs and policies. 3+ years experience in a generalist HR role at a software company Experience developing and managing programs across the entire employee lifecycle Experience with relevant legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, AODA, Bill C-45 CHRP designation or designation in progress Bonus : Experience with Humi Bonus : Experience with Workable Bonus : Startup experience Bonus : Passion for games! The position will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR and people-related issues and opportunities, leveraging their expertise in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and compliance. This individual will act as a point of contact for employees and managers, helping to create a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR and operations run smoothly. Additionally, this role will utilize people data insights to drive strategies that foster a high-performance culture and Make Fans internally.
This role will also support a startup sister organization.
