Description de poste

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will manufacture and assemble high-quality commercial millwork, including office furniture, retail fixtures, reception desks, healthcare cabinetry, educational casework, and architectural woodwork. The ideal candidate has experience working in a commercial woodworking environment and is committed to producing precision-built products that meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
  • Manufacture and assemble commercial cabinetry, millwork, reception desks, office furniture, wall panels, and retail fixtures.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble plywood, MDF, laminate, veneer, and solid wood components.
  • Operate woodworking equipment, including CNC routers, beam saws, panel saws, edge banders, drills, sanders, and other production machinery.
  • Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, locks, and specialty commercial hardware.
  • Perform laminating, edge banding, sanding, and finishing tasks.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate measurements and production records.
  • Keep workstations clean and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with packaging, loading, and installation support when required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial cabinet making or architectural millwork.
  • Experience reading architectural and shop drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial woodworking materials and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent measuring, layout, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
  • Experience building commercial millwork, office furniture, retail fixtures, healthcare cabinetry, or institutional casework.
  • Knowledge of laminate, veneer, plywood, MDF, and solid wood products.
  • Familiarity with commercial hardware installation.
  • CSA-approved safety shoes required.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when required.
