Position Title : Data AnalystLocation : Edmonton, AB (Hybrid)Type : PermanentAll applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.The Position : Our Edmonton Area Client, is seeking a Data Analyst to help drive smarter business decisions. The successful candidate will pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that help shape strategies and improve operations.What You’ll Do : Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (SQL, Excel, API, etc.).Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making at all levels.Work with cross-functional teams to define and analyze business requirements.Conduct exploratory data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.Perform ad-hoc data analysis for business requests.Develop and implement data quality standards and ensure data accuracy.Mandatories (must have to qualify) : Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of data-driven projects.Proficient in data manipulation and querying with SQL, Excel, or other similar tools.Strong Experience working with relational databases including Oracle and SQL ServerExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data modeling techniques.Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex data sets and projects.Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.WE APPRECIATE YOUR INTEREST IN 10 PERCENT RECRUITING LTD.We invite you to become one of our satisfied candidates! 10 Percent Recruiting Ltd. believes in transparency with our candidates and our employers; we understand that open communication and collaboration are fundamental to our success.
