Our Toronto based client is seeking an Oracle Cutover Manager contractor to join their project starting end of January and will run for 12-18 months. This will be a hybrid work setting with some on-site work required at the  client offices with some travel to USA locations needed.

• The Cutover Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the final stages of an Oracle CCB system implementation or upgrade. This includes the cutover phase , which transitions the organization from legacy systems to Oracle CCB.
• The Cutover Manager ensures this process runs smoothly, minimizing downtime and business disruption while maintaining system and data integrity.
• Lead the Cutover Team : Manage cross-functional teams, including technical experts, business analysts, testers, and migration specialists.
• Delegate Tasks : Assign and oversee responsibilities to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Facilitate Communication : Keep stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and challenges throughout the cutover phase.
• Enable Collaboration : Foster seamless coordination between technical, functional, and business teams.
• Develop Cutover Plan : Create a detailed plan outlining the transition to Oracle CCB, including timelines , key milestones, resource allocation, and potential risks.
• Define Cutover Scope : Identify the specific tasks required, including data migration, system configuration, and validation activities.
• Establish Success Criteria : Set measurable objectives for cutover success, such as system performance, data accuracy, and operational readiness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work with IT, business teams, and external vendors to align on cutover goals and activities.

• Oversee Data Migration : Ensure accurate and complete data migration from legacy systems to Oracle CCB.
• Perform Data Validation : Verify data integrity and correctness post-migration to ensure readiness for go-live.
• Resolve Data Issues : Address discrepancies or errors in coordination with data and technical teams.
• Ensure System Readiness : Validate Oracle CCB configurations, user access, security settings, and integrations.
• Test System Integrations : Confirm that Oracle CCB interfaces with CRM , supply chain, and other connected systems are operational.
• Final Testing : Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing to ensure Oracle CCB operates as expected.
• Coordinate User Training : Facilitate training sessions to prepare users for Oracle CCB , addressing any gaps in knowledge.
• Provide Support Resources : Deliver user guides, FAQs , and troubleshooting materials to support end-users during the transition.
• Support UAT : Manage User Acceptance Testing ( UAT) to validate that Oracle CCB meets business requirements.
• Identify and Mitigate Risks : Anticipate challenges during the cutover phase and establish mitigation strategies.
• Develop Contingency Plans : Prepare backup and rollback strategies to address potential setbacks.
• Resolve Problems : Quickly address and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during the cutover process.
• Monitor Execution : Oversee cutover activities, ensuring they are completed on time and according to plan.
• Manage Go-Live : Ensure Oracle CCB goes live successfully, meeting all readiness criteria.
• Minimize Downtime : Implement strategies to reduce system downtime and business disruptions during the transition.
• Monitor System Stability : Ensure Oracle CCB is stable and fully functional after go-live.
• Coordinate Hypercare : Provide immediate post- cutover support to address user issues and system errors.
• Conduct Review : Facilitate a post-go-live review to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
• Document Processes : Maintain comprehensive records of all cutover activities, including timelines, challenges, and resolutions.
• Generate Reports : Provide regular updates on cutover progress and final performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Post-Cutover Insights : Deliver a detailed report evaluating the cutover process and outcomes.
• Enhance Cutover Processes : Analyze the cutover phase to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Refine Methodology : Update and optimize cutover methodologies and tools for future Oracle CCB projects.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and the US.
