Salary : $100K to $120K annually + excellent benefit package

Job Summary
Manage and lead Business Development for our clients Specialty Services. Create business opportunities and new relationships (or leverage existing ones) to build specialty service sales for our client. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Overall Accountabilities
- Lead all sales and business development efforts for the company in the Specialty Services segments (including but not limited to : bagging, regrading, reclamation, repacking (resize or relabel), fruit ripening, cross-docking, icing and SQF certified storage).
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities.
- Support deal structure and pricing with appropriate business value / margin analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
- Develop segment strategies and positions by analyzing market intelligence.
- Leverage and develop relationships with customers and prospective customers, ensuring long-term satisfaction.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, including new product development.
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
- Utilize and apply customer profitability and pricing models to negotiate customer agreements.
- Prepare all client communications and correspondence working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Actively participate in sales meetings / marketing review meetings and general procedural reviews as it applies to business development and the sales department.
- Assist the sales department and management team to ensure sales department processes are streamlined for efficiency.
- Travel to new accounts and customer meetings as necessary.

Working Conditions
The position works in a busy office environment with exposure to a plant environment, as well as visits to potential customers' sites. Approximately 25% travel is required within Canada and Internationally. Mental stress is relative to meeting tight deadlines, producing accurate work, and responding to urgent requests. Occasional weekend work is required.
