Position Overview

At Autodesk AEC, we strive to help teams meet the world’s rapidly expanding building and infrastructure needs while making architecture design and construction more predictable, safe and sustainable. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will collaborate with a stellar cross-functional team of Product Management and Engineering partners to advance our document management toolset used by construction and architecture professionals to bring project plans and drawings to life.

We are looking for someone who is confident in leading and crafting designs from early conception to production and post-production, working closely with key stakeholders and supporting partners along the way, applying critical thinking by way of customer insights, product data and business context to make strong product design decisions.

This is a remote position for Canada with a strong preference for candidates based on the Pacific Time Zone. Please include resume, portfolio and password when applying.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, content designers and other Experience Design members to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation.
• Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity including high-level wireframes, conceptual designs, design presentations and detailed specifications.
• Collaborate closely with one or more remote teams, working iteratively to deliver customer value.
• Use customer insights that come from analytics and customer interactions to help inform business and design decisions.
• Help to facilitate and participate in user research like interviews and usability testing to validate designs and make iterative improvements.
• Contribute to efforts to create scalable experience design standards and improve design processes.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $86,300 and $126,500. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
