Description de posteImplement and manage firewall rules , VPNs , and network access controls . Support cloud networking within Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments . Ensure compliance with security best practices, policies, and risk management processes . Assist in incident response and security audits. Participate in the design, documentation, and deployment of scalable network solutions. Support enterprise networking projects involving Cisco (Catalyst / Nexus), Palo Alto, SDWAN and F5 Load Balancers . Implement and optimize BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLAN, and QoS configurations . Assist with disaster recovery planning and network redundancy strategies. Work with IT Security, business teams, and external vendors on technical implementations. Maintain up-to-date network documentation , including configurations and topology diagrams. Provide input on network capacity planning and infrastructure improvements . 5–8 years of experience in network engineering or administration in a corporate environment. Experience with Cisco routers & switches (Catalyst, Nexus, ASR), SDWAN Viptela or Meraki, Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 load balancers . Strong understanding of network security protocols (IPsec, SSL, NAT / PAT, VPN). Experience troubleshooting Layer 2 / 3 protocols (ARP, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, STP). Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure . Experience with PowerShell or automation scripting for network administration is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Cisco CCNP (preferred) or CCNA with strong hands-on experience. Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Services, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Network Administration & Support
- Configure, manage, and optimize WAN / LAN / SD-WAN infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for network incidents, including troubleshooting firewalls, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and VPN configurations .
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
- Maintain network monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performance (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
