to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in the second half of 2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. We are committed to sustainable development, environmental protection, and building strong communities. We believe in empowering our people, fostering a culture of growth, and creating opportunities for meaningful careers as we build the mines of the future.

As part of the Maintenance Team, the Mobile Maintenance Planner will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and organized execution of maintenance activities at the mine site. This position is responsible for managing work orders, and optimizing resources to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and contribute to the overall productivity of the mining operation.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and schedule maintenance for equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Create and manage work orders with defined tasks, timelines, and required resources.

Review and prioritize maintenance requests, assigning resources efficiently.

Coordinate with procurement and inventory to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.

Optimize resource use to support efficient maintenance execution.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics.

Provide technical input during planning to ensure accurate task definition and troubleshooting support.

Ensure all maintenance plans meet safety, environmental, and company standards.

Prepare maintenance performance reports for management review.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

Interprovincial Heavy Duty Mechanic certification considered an asset.

Minimum 3 years of maintenance planning experience in mining or heavy industry.

Strong understanding of maintenance planning methods, tools, and systems.

Familiarity with mining equipment, machinery, and maintenance practices.

Excellent organization and time management to prioritize and meet deadlines.

High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and departments.

Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and related software.

Committed to safety and proactive in promoting safe work practices.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.

Employer paid health, dental, and vision insurance

Life and disability insurance

Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with company match

Camp-based position with travel support

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan is committed to building a skilled and diverse workforce as we move into our next phase of growth. Indigenous applicants are encouraged to self-declare when submitting applications and resumes. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, you must be legally able to work in Canada.

The McIlvenna Bay Project site is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position and the remote work environment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, which includes drug and alcohol testing, as a condition of employment.
