Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client's food production team in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our manufacturing processes in Etobicoke, ON. In this role you will be monitoring production, conducting quality tests, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities :

Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA, CFIA).

Conduct inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.

Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, quality reports, and inspection records.

Coordinate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring continuous improvement.

Oversee sanitation procedures and provide recommendations to enhance hygiene practices.

Perform routine audits of the manufacturing process and provide corrective action plans as needed.

Train staff on quality assurance practices and regulatory requirements.

Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the facility meets all applicable standards.

Qualifications :

Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

Experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance roles.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across teams
