Description de posteStrong work ethic and a positive team player attitude. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age; You have previous retail experience; Experience with wine, spirits and beer in a retail setting is not compulsory but is an asset; Applicants must be willing to take SIRS Certification. It will be paid for by the Co-op ; Applicants must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You must be flexible; Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted; Criminal records check may be conducted.
What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, the successful candidate will :
- Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines representing the Values and Brand.
- Meet all Meadow Lake Coop guidelines on Dress Code, Personal Hygiene and Customer Service.
- Ensure high level of customer service is provided at all times;
- Be professional, friendly and courteous in the work environment;
- Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and housekeeping standards;
- Adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op Policies & Procedures and the asset protection program;
- Adhere to Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) operating guidelines;
- Participate in all OH&S requirements, and be knowledgeable about the compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation;
- Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery;
- Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source;
- Other duties as assigned.
