Description de poste

We are recruiting for Regional Floral Merchandisers to work within a designated region on behalf of growers to merchandise plant programs in large retailers from mid April to mid June (7 weeks)

You will be responsible to support 1-2 retail locations to locate incoming orders, ensure they are placed on sales floor, manage inventory, pricing and provide maintenance on all items in the retail locations in a designated region.

Having personal transportation that allows you to travel to 2 locations per shift in an efficient manner is an asset

Availability to be scheduled for shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (occasionally Friday)  depending on delivery schedules between the hours of 8am-4pm is required for this position.

Weekly hours will be between 4-8 hrs weekly

  • lifestyle fit and enjoy working flexible schedules on various programs & projects during different times of the year
  • ability to bend, lift, push and pull items 20-50lbs during the course of your shift
  • ability to work in an independent work environment
  • floral or plant maintenance knowledge
  • personable and can easily build strong relationships
  • keen to learn new information quickly
  • able to multi task-efficient in time management
  • troubleshoot and problem solving ability
  • merchandising, retail or labour experience
  • asset if you can travel up 1 hr from your home base
  • access to a cell phone with data for online reporting
