Position DescriptionRemote / Hybrid - Two or more visits a month are requiredTime Commitment : 20 - 25 hours a week.Mountain Springs Church seeks a passionate, enthusiastic, innovative Volunteer Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a values-driven, multi-ethnic church plant that launched in the past year, we are excited to witness God's transformative work in our midst. We currently meet at the Mountain Cineplex Cinemas on Sundays, and we are looking for passionate individuals who are willing to volunteer their time and gifts to help our new church develop the systems and structure to serve our growing community. This role is a ministry opportunity for someone who feels called to contribute to the growth and vision of our church during this season.Key Responsibilities : 1. Social Media Management : Oversee and execute our social media strategy across various platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.Create compelling content that aligns with our church's values and brand and resonates with our diverse community.Manage our social media accounts, including regular posts, community engagement, and responding to messages and comments. 2. Content Creation : Develop and produce engaging and relevant content for various channels, including our website, blog, podcasts, and events.Collaborate with ministry leaders to identify storytelling opportunities that showcase the impact of our church's work.Ensure all content adheres to our church's brand guidelines and messaging. 3. Audio / Visual and Design : Assist with audio / visual needs, including sound, lighting, and multimedia presentations, to support our worship services and events.Utilize design skills to create visually appealing graphics, flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials.Explore innovative ways to enhance our media presence and outreach through creative storytelling and multimedia experiences. 4. Podcasting and Communications : Manage the production and distribution of our church's podcasts, ensuring high-quality content and consistent delivery.Explore new and engaging ways to share information, stories, and updates with our congregation and the broader community.Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all media channels. 5. Teaching and Mentorship : Embrace a spirit of service by sharing your skills and knowledge with others in the church community.Identify and mentor individuals interested in media, communications, or technology, helping them develop their gifts and talents.Foster a collaborative and supportive environment where team members can learn and grow together. Qualifications and Requirements : A robust personal faith and alignment with the church's values, mission, and vision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and relevant content.Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and multimedia production.Strong design skills and familiarity with relevant software and tools.Experience with audio / visual equipment and multimedia presentations.Innovative mindset and a passion for exploring creative solutions.A heart for teaching, mentoring, and empowering others.Commitment to personal growth, humility, and a willingness to learn.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.
