We’re looking for a Project Manager to join a growing construction company specializing in high-impact projects.Our client has a strong portfolio of exciting projects on the horizon and is looking to add a Project Manager who will play a key role in overseeing project execution. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This individual will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive operational success and lead project teams through every phase of the project lifecycle.Project Manager responsibilities : Oversee day-to-day operations of project teams, including superintendents and foremen, ensuring projects run smoothly and are completed on time and within budget.Manage project documentation, including securing and processing contracts, permits, and licenses, while ensuring compliance to protect both the company’s and client’s interests.Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines, and implement changes as needed to stay on track.Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring all necessary resources are available and costs are controlled.Handle change orders, pricing negotiations, and billing schedules, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection, while maintaining detailed logs of changes.Track actual costs and financial performance against estimates, working with senior leadership to resolve any issues and maintain cost control.Lead project closeout activities, including conducting pre- and post-construction meetings, ensuring all final documentation is completed, and the project is closed efficiently.Manage and supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality control, timely deliveries, and processing of invoices in accordance with project requirements.Collaborate with the estimator on tender submissions, job closeouts, and take-off reviews, ensuring all documents are properly reviewed and project outcomes are met.Attend site walkthroughs, review estimates, and track the execution of project tasks to ensure successful delivery.The successful candidate has : A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing successful projectsA post-secondary degree or diploma, or Journeyperson certification in a relevant construction fieldSolid understanding of the construction process, project documentation, and industry regulationsStrong knowledge of construction systems, processes, and best practicesExcellent problem-solving, budgeting, and financial forecasting skillsStrong attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy and precision in all aspects of project managementProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)Experience with project management software such as Procore or similar platformsStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teamsCompensation and benefits : Competitive salary, based on experienceComprehensive benefits packageRRSP matchingProfessional development and continuous training resourcesCollaborative and supportive work environmentOnly candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
