Description de posteCompletion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent. Three years’ experience of electronic assembly an asset. Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly an asset. Familiar with touch screen data entering and scanning. Familiar with ISO and IPC standards an asset. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills. Ability to focus attention on details and a high level of accuracy skills. Must be reliable. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner. Summary :
We are searching for a Material Handler that maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product. The job involves frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, constant walking and standing, regular bending and reaching.This is a full time permanent role based out of our branch in Pointe Claire, QC.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Standards & Compliance Procedures.
