We are seeking a passionate and creative minded Part Time Marketing Intern to add to our E-Commerce team!

We are Sourcery Vancouver, a fast growing e-commerce startup originated and based in Vancouver, B.C. We are now looking to expand our team to include a Marketing Intern to oversee a variety of Digital Marketing related tasks. This is a great opportunity to work on the front lines of a business and collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to work on various marketing functions within our organization! Gain invaluable marketing experience working on several fun and exciting projects at Sourcery.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Visualize, Prepare, and Execute Social Media Marketing Campaigns
  • Direct Campaign Video & Photo Shoots
  • Collaborating with Creative Directors, Models & Videographers / Photographers to form finalized Visual Assets
  • Discuss and Prepare Budgets for Campaigns with Media Buyer
  • Competitor and Market Analysis / Research
  • Analyze & Report Marketing Data to Director
  • Discuss and Adjust Future Strategies based on Reports
  • Constantly Analyze Website Traffic & Other E-Commerce Marketing Metrics
  • Creating & Maintaining Website Product Listings
  • Generic Product Photography
  • Research products using online tools in order to gauge market value, competitor prices and demand.
  • Manage product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and inventory levels across all platforms.

Skills :

  • Established Marketing Knowledge Foundation (Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field)
  • Previous Experience and Skill with a Video Camera is a strong asset as capturing and curating short form advertisements will be a large part of job responsibilities
  • A Creative and Curious mindset is a great asset to have, as a large function of the Marketing Coordinator will be to brainstorm and analyze campaign ideas with an open mind.
  • Experience / Knowledge about Google Analytics and general Marketing and E-Commerce Analytics is an asset
  • Proficient computer skills are a strong asset. working on our website platform will be regular, requiring minimal technical skills however proficiency with a computer is a strong asset.
  • Interest in Fashion / Streetwear. Streetwear fashion is the basis of what we do at Sourcery and is the core of our business. Products and marketing are largely a streetwear based focus and knowledge about streetwear and large brands in the space will be an asset.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work closely with a tight knit team and also complete tasks independently
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaboration within a team environment.
  • Experience with social media platforms and analytics is a plus

    • What We Offer :

  • 21-$25 per hour; varies based on previous experience / skills
  • Expected 18-24 hours per week (Flexible Schedule)
