We’re currently hiring for a Journeyman Electrician Maintenance Technician for our Manufacturing facility B shift (Evening Shift). The hours of work for this position are from 4 : 30 pm to 1 : 00 am. In this role, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and get a little bit better each and every day, with the support of a team that always has your back. In this role, you’ll be hands-on, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your focus will include performing preventative maintenance on schedule, tackling equipment repairs and modifications as outlined in work orders, conducting regular inspections of equipment, utilities, and the building, and creating work orders for anything you uncover along the way.
On any given day, the Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for :
- Actively drive the success of the Preventative Maintenance Program by consistently prioritizing work orders, ensuring all preventative maintenance (PM) tasks are completed on time, and thoroughly documenting every detail to maintain program integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic systems by following established procedures and policies, maintaining a high standard of safety and precision.
- Expertly manage electrically powered systems with confidence and professionalism, ensuring safe and effective operation whenever required.
- Perform safety evaluations before starting any tasks.
- Coordinating timing with Production Supervisors to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Communicating issues and potential solutions, escalating to leadership for decision-making when needed.
- Collaborating with project teams and Line Supervisors on projects related to production equipment.
- Working independently with minimal supervision and overseeing tasks is required
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of production equipment across all production lines.
- Providing feedback and suggestions to leadership for enhancing production equipment performance.
- Maintaining the highest standard of housekeeping in the workplace and parts warehouse.
- Participating in inventory counts within the parts warehouse.
- Supporting our Glass Manufacturing Facility Maintenance team.
