- 3 months contract
- Shift Days : Monday, Tuesday & Thursday Shift Hours : 6-8 hours Pay Rate : $24-$26 / hourly JOB OVERVIEW : The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for assisting the Financial Services Manager by handling invoice processing, payment requests, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate in data entry, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. REPORTING STRUCTURE : The Accounts Payable Clerk reports directly to the Financial Services Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Scan and attach documents for record-keeping and processing; Enter and code received invoices accurately into the system; Process payroll and per diem cheque requests; Verify expense report receipts, amounts, and coding for accuracy and compliance; Secure necessary invoice authorizations before processing payments; Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies; Maintain accurate and organized filing of financial documents; Other duties as required. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS : Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills; Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, & Excel specifically Pivot tables); Strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast paced environment; EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Experience using Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics 365; Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk is an asset; Acceptable security and criminal record check.
