In this dynamic role, you’ll play a key part in managing administrative tasks, coordinating service schedules, and supporting our service team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities : Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries about service appointments, repairs, and maintenance, while delivering exceptional customer service. Welcome customers warmly, whether in person or over the phone, and provide clear, accurate details about available services. Resolve customer concerns and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive experience and fostering trust. Support the service advisor with coordinating shop and / or road technicians. Support with the preparation and maintenance of accurate service records, and repair orders. Manage billing, invoicing, and payment processing with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and update the service database and related systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Coordinate freight arrangements for the timely pick-up and delivery of service work as needed. Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless support when needed. Uphold workplace health and safety practices at all times. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficient in using computer applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems. Strong typing skills at 50-60 wpm, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Positive and professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside superb customer service abilities. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized with excellent problem-solving skills. Training, Education and Experience : 1-3 years of experience in a service-related administrative role, preferably in the automotive / equipment industry. High School Diploma. Compensation Package : Salary between $40,000 and $50,000 depending on experience and qualifications, along with vacation, extended benefits, and an RRSP matching plan. Working Conditions : The Service Administrator is based out of the Surrey office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday.
