Our division, targeting the North American market, will manufacture high-end, compact and high-performance battery copper foil used to increase the mileage of electric cars.JOB SUMMARY As a Junior Accounting Technician - Bookkeeper, you play a vital role in the financial and operational management of the company. Demonstrating motivation and attention to detail, you will be part of our financial team members whose responsibilities will be related to accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, general accounting, and taxation, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity. Your primary workplace will be based at our Granby office, however, you may be required to work temporarily at our Brossard office pending the complete transfer to Granby in the near future.  MAIN TASKS DESCRIPTION  Verifying, coding, matching and posting invoices into the ERP(SAP);Booking, reporting and reconciling intercompany transactions;Supporting an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close;Supporting the timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly and yearly financial information;Collaborating with the other finance team staff to support overall department goals and objectives;Calculating, reporting and filing of GST / QST reports;Assisting tax audit by tax authority, local municipality; Assisting financial audit (Statutory audit);Developing, maintaining and update accounting spreadsheets Excel template;Any other accounting related task such as : Accounting activities including, some financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, reconciliations, data tracking, payables and receivables and any general work that might be assigned. RESPONSIBILITY AND COMPLIANCE Comply with the corporate legal rules and safety procedures of the company; Ensure compliance with current standards and laws. TRAINING AND REQUIREMENT :   Education Minimum Degree : College or university degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field and / or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience Minimum de 2 ans d'expériences pertinentes dans un poste similaireHave experience for monthly closing to make financial statements (Profit / Loss statement, Balance Sheet);Have experience for intercompany transactions with other subsidiaries Knowledge Basic knowledge of Canada / Quebec tax law & declaration  Skills Fluency in French and English is mandatory (verbal and written);Familiarity with relevant accounting software such as SAP;Good knowledge of Excel; Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices;Good with numbers, great attention to detail and an good analytical acumen;Excellent organizing abilities;Ability to adapt and open to change aligned with a global business culture. Assets knowledge of accounting principle by FRS;knowledge of accounting system, preferably SAP;Experience with SAP ERP (FI, CO module) & Taxes declaration. WHAT WE OFFER YOU :  Salaire, vacances, prime annuelle, augmentations salariales annuelles surpassant la concurrence du marché ainsi qu'une gamme d'avantages sociaux complète incluant une assurance collective avec assistance médical à distance (télémédecine), un régime de REER collectif avec participation de l'employeur, etc. ; Salary, vacation, annual bonus, annual salary increases surpassing market competition as well as a complete range of benefits including group insurance with remote medical assistance (telemedicine), a group RRSP plan with employer contribution, etc.; An excellent opportunity for professional development and advancement within a global company recognized as a principal leader in the advanced technology sector.  If you want to join a dedicated team to contribute by building the future all together in a high trended technologies that offers you the opportunity to grow, Volta Energy Solutions Canada Inc. has a position for you. We will only communicate with candidates whose application have been retained.
