Senior technical drafter

Job description :

We are looking for a Senior Technical Drafter to join a dynamic and passionate team within a general contractor based in Quebec. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience with large-scale projects. It offers comprehensive services, ranging from project management to execution of works.

Responsibilities :

• Create technical drawings for various projects, such as layout plans, piping, and fabrication
• Use CAD software to design 3D models
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to integrate modifications and specific needs
• Prepare and update documentation of drawings and changes made
• Revise drawings based on feedback and necessary adjustments throughout the project
• Train and mentor junior or intermediate draftspersons
