Salary Range: $60,000 – $85,000/year

About the Role:
We’re seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Junior Petroleum Service Technician to join our team. In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining fuel systems and POS terminals, assisting with construction projects for retail fuel sites, and supporting drilling operations. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, coordinating smaller projects, and working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain petroleum equipment (pumps, sensors etc.) and POS systems (, Bulloch, GIR)
  • Perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Assist with project management of small construction projects and seasonal maintenance
  • Participate in on-call emergency rotation (approx. every 3-5 weeks)
  • Complete accurate daily reports and documentation
  • Perform drilling activities and learn drilling operation

Requirements:

  • College or University Degree (Science, Engineering, and/or Project management Field or Similar)
  • Proven experience in project management within the petroleum and construction industries.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities, complemented by solid communication skills and computer/reporting proficiency.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work long days (up to 13 hours)
  • Valid G-class license with clean abstract with a willingness to travel regularly within Northern Ontario

Assets:

  • TSSA PM certifications (PM1, PM2, PM3, PMH)
  • Electrical and or drilling knowledge or experience
  • Project management or petroleum industry experience
  • AR or AZ license
