Job Description

  • The mandate is looking for a senior developer with 12 years of experience who can jump right in on existing Java, Spring, and AWS code to tackle technical debt and fix vulnerabilities, rather than someone focused on developing new features.
  • The Mythos context and repeated mentions of security posture, vulnerability management, and technological upgrade point to a role centered on actively modernizing an existing application portfolio, not just a standard maintenance job.

Requirements

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in software development, including enterprise application modernization
  • Excellent proficiency in Java
  • Significant experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security)
  • Significant experience in API development and microservices architectures
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including managed services and serverless technologies
  • Experience with distributed or event-driven solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Implementation of an automated testing strategy (unit, integration, regression, and UI testing)
  • Experience in reducing technical debt and modernizing applications
  • Experience in vulnerability management and secure software development
  • Proficiency in French, both written and spoken

PREFERRED

  • Knowledge of AI-assisted development practices in a secure environment
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
