Job Summary :
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for accurately managing and controlling inventory levels ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory records track inventory movements and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
2. Inventory Control : Monitor inventory levels identify discrepancies and take corrective action to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
3. Warehouse Organization : Ensure the warehouse is organized clean and safe and that all inventory is properly stored and labeled.
4. Shipping and Receiving : Verify shipments against purchase orders receive and inspect incoming inventory and process returns and damages.
5. Reporting and Analysis : Generate reports on inventory levels turnover and other key metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
6. Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
7. Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements :
1. Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
2. Experience : 12 years of experience in inventory management warehouse operations or a related field.
3. Skills : Proficient in inventory management software Microsoft Office and Google Suite; excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
