Position Information Position Title Integration Facilitator (Dryden) Posting Type Permanent - Less Than 12 Months End Date (if applicable) Classification Title PT Support 7 Pay Band 7 Min Salary $28.30 Max Salary $35.36 Position Summary The incumbent advocates, intervenes and acts on behalf of the Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) student with faculty, other College students, and College-wide services. He / she tutors individually and in groups and assists in the integration process in the classroom and on field placement. The incumbent determines and utilizes individualized success strategies which support student success. The incumbent is responsible for the preparation and modification of course outlines, tests and assignments in collaboration with the faculty. The incumbent is primarily responsible for a workload consisting of a combination of classroom and tutoring hours with students and some time assigned as other related responsibilities. A weekly timetable will reflect a combination of attending classes with students, tutoring, and conducting other success strategies that support CICE students and the program. Location / Campus Dryden Campus Education Minimum level of formal education required for the position 2 year diploma or equivalent Specific course(s), certification, qualification, formal training or accreditation required for the position Additional Requirements CPR / First Aid Training Field(s) of Study Diploma in Developmental Services Worker, Educational Assistant, Social Service Worker, or Child and Youth Worker programs. Experience Typical number of years of experience, in addition to the necessary education level, required to perform the responsibilities of the position Minimum of three (3) years Type of Experience Incumbent must have a minimum of three (3 years) experience working with persons with significant learning challenges in an Academic environment. This includes working with persons with Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Brain Injuries etc. Incumbent must also be proficient in the use of computer software including adaptive technology.
