As the Director of Human Resources, you will lead the HR department at ANNISAA, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a mission-driven and inclusive work culture. This role will require strategic oversight of all HR initiatives, from compliance and policy creation to team development and volunteer management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and Implement HR Strategy : Lead the creation and execution of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, fostering a positive, inclusive, and mission-focused work environment.
- Establish HR Policies and Ensure Compliance : Design, implement, and uphold HR policies and procedures, maintaining a respectful, compliant workplace aligned with employment laws and industry best practices.
- Manage Recruitment and Talent Acquisition : Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for paid and volunteer roles. Attract and retain high-calibre talent suited to the organization’s mission.
- Foster Employee and Volunteer Relations; Oversee Performance Management : Support staff and volunteer relations by facilitating performance evaluations, addressing concerns, and promoting staff development initiatives to build a motivated and engaged team.
- Lead Projects and Manage Change Initiatives : Direct HR and volunteer-related projects, supporting smooth transitions for new policies or practices and aligning with organizational change initiatives.
- Compensation, Benefits, and Volunteer Rewards : Administer employee payroll and benefits programs and oversee volunteer recognition and rewards, ensuring equity and satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting : Collaborate with leadership to develop and manage the HR and Volunteer Management budget, contributing to strategic planning initiatives and aligning HR and volunteer goals with organizational objectives.
