Project Opportunity

Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) has been awarded the implementation and construction of the Scarborough Subway Extension project. The Scarborough Subway Extension will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those traveling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.

FCC Canada is looking for a Asset & Configuration Manager to join the Scarborough Transit Connect team.

The Asset & Configuration Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining Configuration and Asset Management processes, ensuring full control over system configurations, modifications, and asset tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Asset & Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Establish and maintain Configuration Baselines and Asset Registers, ensuring traceability and impact assessment of changes.
• Oversee the Change Management Process, reviewing Change Requests (CR) and coordinating Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
• Ensure accurate tracking and lifecycle management of physical and software assets.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper asset tracking and configuration updates.
• Ensure seamless integration of Asset and Configuration Management with Maintenance Planning and Operations.
• Generate reports and insights on configuration status, asset utilization, and compliance metrics.
