We specialize in conventional Oil and Gas projects, heavy oil (SAGD, CSS) processing and enhanced oil recovery projects. Main Duties and Competencies
The Instrumentation Lead manages the Instrumentation group of a project or program and provides guidance and coaching to the team. The Instrumentation Lead is a senior member of the engineering leadership team and will report to the department lead. Key duties include :
- Lead a team of Instrumentation Engineers / Specialist and designers for a Sustainable program or multiple projects at a time
- Liaison with I&C vendors and engineering team to resolve technical issues
- Steer review sessions for I&C deliverables with different project stake holders including client’s project team
- Coordinate with Project management team such that I&C activities are aligned with the agreed project schedule
- Review / check I&C deliverables including datasheets, sizing calculations, MR packages and Control drawing / deliverables
- Responsible as a senior Technical resource, Checker and a Consultant for the I&C department
- Provide technical guidance and mentor intermediate / junior engineers in their day to day activities
- Represent I&C team to the client and be responsible for meeting client’s expectations
