We’re looking for a Project Manager, Applications Development! Join us at CanArt Aluminum Extrusion Inc. and leverage your expertise to make a real difference in delivering successful software development projects! This is a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance. POSITION SUMMARY As a Project Manager at CanArt Aluminum Extrusion Inc., you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. This role is a contract interim position with the potential to transition to a full-time role, offering you the opportunity to combine your project management skills with technical expertise in Agile applications development. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Oversee project execution to ensure milestones are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Lead regular project meetings to track progress, identify issues, and implement solutions. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure adherence to SLAs and project requirements. Monitor project performance metrics and application quality to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Significant experience in software development with a proven track record in project management. Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodology and its practical application in software projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions. Prior experience in managing application development projects from conception to deployment. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster) are a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. WORK LOCATION Our ideal candidate is based in Windsor and can travel to our Mississauga location on an occasional basis when needed.
