Starting Salary Range : $87,200 - $95,100 annually (commensurate upon related skills and experience)
The Senior Manager, Direct Marketing will develop, lead and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to acquire, steward and retain donors for WWF-Canada through integrated direct response campaigns that achieve fundraising objectives. This role is responsible for tens of thousands of annual and monthly mass-market donors.
Responsibilities
- Create fundraising strategies that support the growth of revenue and donors through various fundraising campaigns.
- Execute integrated direct response programs that drive one-time and monthly donor revenues for the organization. Integrated channels include but are not limited to : direct mail, digital fundraising (email / social / digital ads), tele fundraising, and Face-to-Face.
- Manage external partners throughout the campaign lifecycle, ensuring messaging is on brand, timely, relevant and aligned with organizational goals.
- Work in close collaboration with WWF’s marketing team to create innovative digital programs that maximize revenue and build engagement among donors.
- Lead all acquisition projects, including business case development, strategic development, project planning, operational design, testing, implementation and reporting.
- Develop, monitor, and report on donor retention and stewardship initiatives.
- Collaborate across the organization to foster integration between all departments.
- Create and manage detailed project timelines and ensure on-time execution of campaigns.
- Lead development and execution of data strategies to maximize fundraising ROI.
- Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports, facilitating execution and seeking solutions to challenges.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial commentaries, forecast of portfolio performance, results and campaign analysis against budget.
- Lead and / or participate in team and cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Assist the Marketing & Communications (Marcom) team with other related duties contributing to the mandate and successful operation of the department and organization.
