Own and drive software architecture, modeling, and design strategies for embedded platforms.
Ensure software development best practices are followed, including coding standards, testing, and version control.
Lead hiring, training, and professional development of the embedded software team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.
System-level ownership of embedded software design from requirements through high-volume production.
Lead functional safety-compliant software development (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ASIL).
Work with RTOS, ARM-based MCUs, and communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB).
Ensure efficient, reliable, and reusable code implementation for real-time embedded applications.
Provide technical oversight for debugging, validation, and integration of embedded software with hardware and control systems.
Support DFMEA, DVP&R, and root cause analysis (8D, structured problem-solving techniques).
Bridge the gap between software, hardware, and mechanical teams, ensuring seamless integration of embedded software.
Define and author software requirements, aligning with current and future product strategies.
Support electronics roadmap planning and ensure alignment with evolving industry standards.
Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and ensure embedded software supports scalability, reliability, and testability.
Implement ASPICE-compliant software development processes to ensure high software quality governance.
