About the Opportunity
The Real Estate program is responsible for creating and managing all Nova Scotia Health leases, regardless of type, at locations across the province.
The Real Estate - Project Manager, reporting to the Manager, Real Estate, develops and project manages real estate (primarily leasing) projects and their respective clinical representatives. This is in support to NSHA clinical operations through provision of clinical operational and clinical administrative spaces in communities to provide safe and efficient services in a responsible and cost-effective manner. This is accomplished by working closely with both external and internal partners including clinical staff at all levels appropriate, building owners, contractors, designers, design-builders, Nova Scotia Digital Service (NSDS), Internal Services Department (ISD), vendors, etc.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following :
- Project Management training through Project Management Institute or other recognized institution.
- 5 years of relevant experience in building design, contracting, commercial / industrial real estate transactions, construction and project management.
- Experience managing a wide range of complex projects and stakeholder teams, committees, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and consultation within a diverse range of stakeholder teams.
- Strong communication, planning, presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and address simultaneous customer concerns by order of criticality while also maintaining adherence to standards and resolving potentially conflicting demand across the customer base.
- Strong analytical, process and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits
42.94 - $53.67 Hourly
