What is the Opportunity? Corporate Banking plays a key role in the realization of RBC Capital Markets’ objectives through the structuring, syndication, and management of bank debt for a targeted customer base in the energy sector. In addition, Corporate Banking reinforces existing non-lending business through initiating, coordinating and cross-selling a full suite of products and capabilities alongside our partners in Global Investment Banking and Global Markets. Through this effort, Corporate Banking is focused on best positioning RBC Capital Markets to win business across a full suite of products and services.

• What will you do?
• Assist in the preparation of internal credit submissions (i.e., company, industry and financial analysis and modeling) and other documentation related to the transaction approval process;
• Work in a team environment with RBC Capital Markets partners including investment banking, loan syndications, commodities, foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, debt and equity capital markets, loan agency, risk management, portfolio management etc.;
• Assist with internal credit administration, including monitoring the team’s loan portfolio performance and market / industry conditions;
• Create, maintain, and update pitch decks, internal presentation materials, spreadsheets, and databases; and
• Assist with Corporate Banking coverage for identified clients
