- The client envisions a senior platform administrator, rooted in the IBM ecosystem (CP4D, OpenShift, DataStage), capable of operating independently on production clusters and supporting development teams with connectivity, TLS certificates, and infrastructure issues.
- The recurring terms stability, performance, and monitoring point to a role focused on operations and keeping things running smoothly, rather than an initial implementation mandate. The dual expertise in OpenShift and DataStage suggests a hybrid profile between containerized platform administration and ETL support, rather than specialization in just one. Requirements
Required:
- CP4D / OpenShift cluster administration
- Management and operation of applications deployed on OpenShift
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in containerized environments
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Significant experience in the administration of data platforms, integration platforms, and containerized infrastructures
Preferred:
- Administration of IBM InfoSphere DataStage and WebSphere platforms
- Bash scripting and Ansible automation (Ansible Automation Platform/Tower)
- DataStage ETL development and support
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data governance principles
- Knowledge of the CP4D ecosystem, including IBM Knowledge Catalog (IKC)
Asset/Advantageous:
- Use of Artifactory and GitHub for code and deliverable management
- Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)
