Griener Lambert Professional Corporation (“Griener Lambert”) is seeking candidates for an Associate Lawyer.

Griener Lambert services clients in matters touching on all facets of business, municipal, public, Indigenous, real estate, and tax law.
Responsibilities
- Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and managing corporate and commercial contracts, including but not limited to, commercial leases, asset purchase agreements, and share purchase agreements.
- Preparing legal memoranda and opinions.
- Interacting with clients and managing deadlines.
- Attending to closings, reviewing title searches, registering transactions and documents on Teraview, meeting with clients to review documentation, preparing reporting letters, and preparing other transactional documents.
- Supervising and assisting junior and senior law clerks handling high volume of residential and refinance, purchase and sale transactions.
- Providing senior management with effective advice on company strategies, products, processes, and risks.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to multitask, show initiative to develop and employ his or her skills in practice, and excel in a team environment.
