Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Buildings to join our dynamic team in Toronto. In this role, you will lead the design, construction support, and commissioning of electrical systems for various building projects. You will play a key role in creating innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with codes, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, construction, and commissioning of electrical systems for building projects, including power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems.
• Prepare specifications, design drawings, and documentation for electrical systems.
• Develop and review test procedures for system validation.
• Perform detailed design of equipment layouts, wiring, cabling, and electrical schematics.
• Conduct field reviews, site inspections, and provide construction support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng registration in Ontario. 15+ years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings. In-depth knowledge of building codes and electrical standards in Canada. Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD and Revit. Strong communication and leadership skills.
