Content Mining uses AI to transform webpages into Pinterest content like recipe and product pins. We’re looking for a Sr. MLE to develop systems that extract data from webpages and text.

Our ML Engineers research and develop ML systems that understand webpages. This problem space has many interesting approaches including graph neural networks, LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and simple linear models. We’ve recently focused on using LLMs to create classification, generative, and instruct model solutions. As an end-to-end team, we manage the entire ML lifecycle from data gathering to model training and serving.

What you’ll do :

• Use Python, HuggingFace, and PyTorch to train / develop models to extract data from webpages & text
• Develop features to represent webpages
• Employ strong software engineering skills to develop frameworks or tools to help productionize our models
• Research ML / AI techniques to apply to our models
• Evaluate accuracy and post-launch impact
• Mentor interns and other engineers
