Job Description

Join our client, a thriving company in Kitchener, in a pivotal role as a Divisional Controller. This exciting opportunity calls for a seasoned CPA who can lead a dynamic team of 4 while collaborating closely with the business to provide invaluable data and insights driving operational efficiency. If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for implementing new processes and procedures, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly Financial : Prepare a comprehensive monthly financial reporting package for the head office.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and inspire a growing finance team to new heights.
  • Strategic Budgeting : Prepare and present annual budgets and forecasts, contributing to the company's financial roadmap.
  • Financial Partnership : Work closely with the GM and Sales Leaders to develop KPI reports.
  • Decision Support : Lead analyses crucial for key business decisions, using your financial acumen to guide the way.
  • Capex Visionary : Develop business cases for capital expenditures, demonstrating your strategic foresight.
  • Projects : Tackle other projects as required, showcasing your versatility and commitment to excellence.

    • Requirements

  • CPA Designation : A must-have to showcase your financial expertise.
  • Management Mastery : Over 5 years of management experience in accounting, proving your leadership prowess.
  • Critical Thinking : Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are second nature to you.
  • Inquisitive Nature : A natural curiosity and the ability to partner effectively with a complex business.
