About the role

Intact Lab is looking for a Manager, Design - Digital Platforms. This manager will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design of our digital platforms, including our mobile app, client portals and virtual bots. Together with Product and Engineering colleagues, this manager will define an experience strategy that ensures we offer the leading digital insurance experience for Canadians.

What you'll do here :

As the Manager, Design – Digital Platforms , you play a mission critical role in defining and accomplishing our digital roadmap. Reporting to the Director, Product and Design – Digital Platforms , your main responsibilities are :

• Provide clear direction to team members on user-centered design best practices, principles and approaches. In charge of managing experience initiatives within the team and align them with stakeholders needs.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the UX / UI Design team, focusing on the management of professional employees. Responsible for the team's performance and results.
• Participate in setting priorities for the team, planning appropriate objectives and operational efficiencies to meet or exceed the goals set by senior executives.
• Manage experience initiatives and support team in the accomplishment of project objectives. Challenge and lead the team with your expertise.
• Responsible for supporting the needs of all business partners through the design of engaging user experiences across a variety of applications.
• Responsible for projecting, measuring and reporting business value of all team initiatives.
• Follow success of implementation and support improvement of future iterations.
• Responsible for the development of valuable processes and business strategies.
• Manage the performance assessment of those processes to support improvement of future iterations.
