We are looking to fill the position of Winter Sports SchoolSales Supervisor at Fernie Alpine Resort . Every day is new and exciting, you share yourlove of the mountains by assisting guests in booking lessons and leading your teamto success. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience,strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, be physically fit andenjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment. You duties will include :

Staff Supervision

  • Staffmanagement skills
  • Providea culture of sales and service
  • Daily crew talks
  • Day-to-day functionsof staff on tasks

General

  • Provide excellent front-facing customer service in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Create an atmosphere of relationship building for the guests at initiation of sales and inquiry process
  • Communicate with guests to find the best program for them. Use the POS to book all lessons and communicate all relevant information to the guest
  • Deal with any guest issues that may arise in a professional, and courteous manner
  • Have / develop an excellent understanding of WSS products and philosophies on how to sell each product
  • Assist supervisor with all lesson sales, cash handling and reconciliations on a daily basis
  • Assist supervisor with various sales outlets that sell WSS product
  • Phone sales station
  • Lizard Creek Lodge sales
  • WSS Sales desk
  • WSS Sales hut

    • OH&S :

  • Daily check lists,updated, completed and filed (system)

    • You Have :

  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • POS system and cash handling / reconciliation experience
  • Excellent computer skills, on various Sales POS systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role an asset
