We are hiring an experienced  Facilities / Building Maintenance Supervisor for a manufacturing client in Englehart, ON.  This is a full-time permanent role and relocation is required to the area.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct maintenance of non-operational related equipment / buildings (internal / external- HVAC, hoisting / rigging, fall protection, fire protection, utilities, etc.)
  • Maintenance work (including mechanical work), code work, fire alarm check, capital improvement projects completed in-house
  • Schedule maintenance PMs and corrective work through MP2
  • Schedule and lead improvement projects
  • Set the scope, get bids, check contractors and submit for approval when improvements are done with outside contractors
  • Order supplies and ensure that they are maintained properly
  • Ensure that employees / contractors complete all work orders in a timely, professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure mill housekeeping is maintained, support and lead EH&S initiatives.
  • Ensure that payroll is submitted accurately and in a timely fashion for the maintenance staff

Qualifications :

  • Must have 2+ years of experience in leading groups of employees / contractors in industrial / manufacturing settings
  • Experience creating, prioritizing, and actioning work orders through a CMMS
  • Strong understanding of maintaining HVAC, hoisting / rigging, fall protection, and fire protection systems.
