Our Burnaby-based government client is looking for a skilled MS Fabric Data Engineer to drive the success of an impactful and fast-paced project. Responsibilities
Perform integration, design, and implementation of various reporting and analytics projects by determining business requirements and feasible technical options to support business operations
Develop sustainable reporting solutions efficiently by following the architectural direction and technical design approved by the solution / technical lead so that projects are completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams by validating business / information requirements, translating them into a conceptual business design model, and troubleshooting development items to deliver sustainable technical solutions.
Qualifications
Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements
Ability to translate business insights and develop data pipelines and dashboards
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and / or Power BI
Experience designing and developing enterprise data models and products
Excellent communication and written skills
Experience in a agile, high performing environment
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, initiate actions and make effective decisions
