Location : Mississauga (onsite)

General Duties :

• Repair and test avionics components on a bench environment.
• Troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems.
• Inspect and recertify completed repaired components and aircraft.

Essential Job Functions :

Inspect, troubleshoot, test and repair avionics components.

Operate, function test and troubleshoot avionics systems on board aircraft.

Document work accomplished and reference data used.

Track and record time required to complete work

Skills and Experiences :

Minimum 3 years’ experience as avionics technician.

A Transport Canada AME “E” license is preferred and may count as two (2) years experience at the discretion of the Avionics Service Manager.

Job knowledge

Education :

High School or equivalent

Avionics or Electronics College Diploma

Transport Canada approved regulatory training.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
