Position Overview : The Territory Manager will oversee the operational functions for Blyth and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong focus on , customer relationship management, and efficient operational practices to drive profitability and growth. The position will report into the Regional Operations Manager for the area.

Key Responsibilities :

Operations Oversight :

Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Oversee the logistics of propane delivery and distribution, optimizing routes and resources.

Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and efficient customer service.

Team Leadership :

Lead and mentor operations teams, fostering a winning culture of excellence, engagement, and accountability.

Ensure operations team have the training, tools, and support required to effectively serve our customer.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide development opportunities.

Financial Management :

Monitor sales performance and operational costs, preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Customer Relationship Management :

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Safety and Compliance :

Promote a culture of safety within the team and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Ensure employees are trained and competent in their roles. Complete safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications :

University degree or Business Diploma and / or 5+ years progressive experience with a focus in operations management, business accounting, marketing, and sales.

Industry knowledge relating to propane or fuel distribution considered an asset

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to handle conflict and de-escalate issues quickly and effectively.

Excellent interpersonal skills with proven leadership ability while maintaining a pleasant and friendly manner is necessary.

Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
