JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is hiring experienced resources for a major global manufacturing company. Experience as a Mechanical Machine Design engineer and / or Mechanical Automation engineer is necessary. The successful candidate needs to be well versed in designing systems within the automotive industry. Previous CAD experience and 3D software is a must - Solidworks is preferred or a comparable technology.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proficient in Solidworks 2018-2020, know the basic in Autocad Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical machine design (5-250+ parts assemblies) Prior mechanical automation experience is an asset Able to learn the new drawing database (Siemens Product) Able to communicate his / her design ideas Knowledge in pneumatically application, knows how to do detail and assembly drawings (good at drafting). degreed engineer or technical education
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience managing multi-million dollar projects, project management, leadership / mentorship and automation.
