Tasks
- Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities
- Assist in school library or office
- Perform other duties assigned by school principal
- Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities
- Monitor students during recess and lunch hour
- Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting
- Assist with classroom inventory
- Monitor and report student progress to classroom teacher
- Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs
- Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals
- Emergency child care first aid and CPR
- Food allergy and anaphylaxis training
- Intensive behavioural intervention Certification
- Mental health first aid Certificate
- Relationship development intervention (RDI) training
- Understanding and managing aggressive behaviour (UMAB) course
