Creative Door Services, North America’s largest overhead door dealer, operates nine branches across Western Canada and we have over 50 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. We provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators and associated controls.

We have an immediate opening for a Lead Commercial Technician in our Fort MacMurray branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Lead Commercial Technician will service and install overhead / pedestrian doors. This role is a permanent, full time position. There is a possibility of on call and overtime.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose problems, provide solutions, and carry out required work on overhead doors
• Regularly coordinate with the service scheduler on problem solving and required parts
• Provide estimates for how many person-hours are required for a service call, and the cost to fix versus replace doors
• Contributing to business development of the branch by actively seeking new customers and building relationships with current customers
• Other duties, as assigned
