Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk will provide prompt response to customer needs, load products and find items for customers, and complete pricing, stocking, inventory, shipping / receiving in the warehouse, and practice good housekeeping habits, while maintaining a professional representation of South Country Co-op.
Qualifications : Candidates must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills; experience working in a warehouse is preferred. An understanding of inventory management, asset protection, shrink, and loss prevention policies and procedures would be an asset.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Able to lift more than 55 lbs. on a regular basis
- Forklift and skid steer experience are an asset
- Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Being mechanically inclined is an asset
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Availability : Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm
