Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
The incumbent participates as an active member of the treatment team carrying out specific therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions with patients based on recovery / treatment plans which have been developed following the Psychosocial Rehabilitation model.
Provides patients with supervision and guidance, assistance with personal care, comfort and support in going about daily living, therapeutic and recreational activities in a safe manner.
Experience
- Experience providing care and support to persons with disabilities preferred.
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
Qualifications and Skills
Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions).
