Part of the KMK Capital Group, the company provides civil engineering design services, project management, and construction management for heavy civil, municipal, commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial projects.

The team at Pinnacle Engineering is composed of a cross-section of highly skilled professionals, including experienced professional engineers, engineering technologists, and resident field engineers. Collectively, they bring decades of experience in land development and construction engineering to the table. This diverse expertise allows the firm to tackle a wide variety of challenges and deliver solutions that are both practical and innovative.

We are proud to partner with Pinnacle Engineering in their search for a talented and experienced Civil Designer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including CAD drafting assignments, project management, estimating and a variety of civil engineering projects. This role can be based remotely from anywhere in Canada or hybrid / remote in Newfoundland.

What You Will Do :

  • Collaborate with the project management team on various civil engineering projects.
  • Perform CAD drafting assignments using AutoCAD and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, estimating, and client communication.
  • Ensure compliance with Municipal and Provincial Development Regulations / Design Standards.

What You Will Need :

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil design and drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Extensive experience in municipal / civil infrastructure design and site development.
  • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, estimating, and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of Municipal and Provincial Development

    • Regulations / Design Standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Superior organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

    • Pinnacle Engineering offers their employees a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary : $45-$55 per hour (pending relevant experience) and benefits package, along with a supportive, team environment.
