We are proud to partner with Pinnacle Engineering in their search for a talented and experienced Civil Designer to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including CAD drafting assignments, project management, estimating and a variety of civil engineering projects.
This role can be based remotely from anywhere in Canada or hybrid / remote in Newfoundland.
What You Will Do :
- Collaborate with the project management team on various civil engineering projects.
- Perform CAD drafting assignments using AutoCAD and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, estimating, and client communication.
- Ensure compliance with Municipal and Provincial Development Regulations / Design Standards.
What You Will Need :
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil design and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Extensive experience in municipal / civil infrastructure design and site development.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, estimating, and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal staff.
- In-depth knowledge of Municipal and Provincial Development
Regulations / Design Standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Superior organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
